Our history

Hudson Township hosted "An introduction to the history of Hudson Township" presented by the Charlevoix County History Preservation Society at the Township Hall.

Hudson Township was once a part of Otsego County and was officially added to Charlevoix County in 1869.  This was just the beginning - we're looking for historical photos, maps, documents, stories, etc.  If you have any information on the history of the township, please contact the Township Clerk .

YEAR ROUND RECREATION   Hudson Township provides many opportunities for year round recreation whether it be lakes and streams for boaters, swimmers or fishermen, many acres of State owned land for mushrooming and many miles of snowmobile trails.  (The Northern Michigan Snowmobile trail runs from the northern to the southern borders of Hudson Township.   Click here to access trail maps, conditions and lodging.)

Please enjoy them responsibly and come back often.
